Here is another one of my craving dish. In Singapore they come both in wet and dry version. I preferred the Chinese Mee Siam, the Malay Mee Siam tends to be much sweeter. The secret of the taste likes with the belacan, dried prawns, tou-chu and tamarind juice. The Fried Mee Siam was originated from the Nyonya.
Fried Mee Siam with Sambal Tumis... simply yummy
Tthe dried prawns found in Taiwan are really fresh and does not smell. The dried meat is not too hard and you can actually eat it as a snack.
